Matheson is looking for experienced Diesel Mechanics forour Fife/Seattle, WA location.

The Diesel Mechanic is responsible for diagnosingproblems, making appropriate repairs, providing ongoing maintenance, conductingperiodic testing, and other duties to ensure vehicles run smoothly and safely.At Matheson Trucking, Inc. we rely on the Diesel Mechanics to maintain enginesto meet government standards of emission and other pollutants. Diesel mechanicwould also need to possess knowledge, experience, and expertise in operatinghigh-tech power tools and equipment.

Job Requirements:

• Ability and experience in running overheads adjusting valves, injectors, and rockers on Cummins ISX engines
  
• Knowledge and ability to use specialized tools and precision measuring devices used by a variety of engine manufacturers
  
• Proficiency in the use of diagnostic repair manuals, diagrams and schematics used to diagnose electronically controlled fuel systems
  
• Must possess own tools and storage
  
• Tool Mastery - safe operation of all Shop tools and personal protective equipment
  
• Education/Experience: 4+ years of industry experience.
• CDL A or B License preferred, not required
