Our Hydro Flask Team is based in breathtaking Bend, Oregon. There is a desert to the East of town and mountains to the West. Our geography says a lot about who we are. That may sound like the weekend, but that is how we live every day of the year. We also offer a casual and dog-friendly environment.

What you will be doing:

The Digital Designer will be an integral part of the internal Brand Design team to design and prepare digital assets for consumer-facing marketing efforts, including product campaigns, website, social and email support, digital advertising, digital retail assets, digital storytelling, and photography/video support. This position will work closely with the Brand Design team, eCommerce and Digital Marketing team and play a crucial role in the creative look and feel of our marketing efforts through design that supports the brand.


  • Design and prepare graphic assets for digital, motion and occasional print projects, with focus on website, social media, and digital display advertising.

  • Prepare redlines and 'dev-ready' files for release to development team(s).

  • Partner with Brand Design team in order to deliver engaging, on-strategy, on-brand marketing assets (digital/photo/video).

  • Work with internal teams (eComm, Retail, Social Media) to concept and create engaging and on-brand marketing assets to support product launches and brand campaigns.

  • Collaborate with agency of record (AOR) and third party vendors on consumer-facing marketing initiatives.

  • Collaborate with Assoc Design Director, Digital Designer, Production Designer, and Project Manager to achieve timely project delivery and efficiency.

  • Attend weekly internal project meetings and maintain status report tracking for all results.

  • Partner with eComm and Digital Marketing team to support social and web development resources.

  • Ensure successful processes for development release and file handoff.

  • Assist with email and digital design best practices as well as post-production and editing of photos and videos.

  • Recommend brand asset updates and usage guidelines.

  • Collaborate team members to understand marketing strategy in service to project objectives.

  • Assist with marketing brand strategy and development.


Skills needed to be successful in this role:

  • Highly motivated with an aspiring spirit and ability to work independently, while also able to build strong internal relationships

  • Willing and able to balance multiple projects in a timely manner

  • Experience leading production designers and presenting optimally with senior leadership

  • Ability to make project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently and maintain flexibility

  • Ability to remain calm and work cross-functionally with tact and effective communication


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Interaction Design (etc.)

  • 3 + years experience crafting digital media for consumer brands including e-commerce, online advertising, interactive experiences, email campaigns, and video

  • Strong portfolio of design work, showing solutions to marketing problems through effective design

  • Shown understanding of applying brand standards and digital guidelines to creative outputs

  • Deep experience crafting wireframes, web banners and digital campaigns for consumer brands

  • Master in the most current version of Abode Creative Suite (XD, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), CSS and HTML

  • Detailed understanding of current and emerging social media platforms and current ttherein (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, SnapChat, etc.)

  • Experience working across print, web, and interactive media and demonstrated portfolio of solutions

  • Familiarity with and usage of project management software tools (Asana, Jira, Basecamp, Smartsheet, etc.)

  • Understands common design software and usage requirements, UX/UI, Consumer centric thinking

  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
