Required Qualifications: Applicants must specifically address how they meet these required qualifications to meet the requirements of the position.:Schedules, coordinates, and provides digital media services including, but not limited to, video, audio, photography, and social media assets to promotions and other department, division, or university needs.
Job Duties:Digital Communications
Supports the planning, design, development, and maintenance of multi-channel digital communications strategies to strengthen the Center's brand image and increase exposure to external and internal audiences. Ensures digital presence aligns with the Center's brand and standards. Assists with management of the Center's websites and establishes a content strategy to ensure quality and optimal functionality. Creates content for web, email newsletters, social media, events, and presentations.
Graphic and Multimedia Design and Production
Perform graphic design guidance and assistance for select outgoing communications from the Center (e.g., infographics, reports, signs, displays) as determined by the supervisor. Responsibilities include the production and design for various platforms, including, but not limited to print, online, audio, and video. Supports Supervisor in working across MCWE teams to ensure consistent branding and messaging in all internal and external communications.
Grant Administration & Coordination
Support the Executive Director in the management/administration of the Center's climate-related awards by providing administrative post-award grant support to ensure correct tracking, compliance, and processing of key deliverables/components for externally funded federal, state, public, and private contracts and grants. Completes all documents, forms, or reports required by the grant(s). Coordinates the monitoring and evaluation of programs and projects funded by the climate grant(s). Develops and maintains master files on grants and paperwork connected to programs funded by grants.
Event Coordination & Other Duties as Assigned
Provides event coordination support, presentation materials, and technical support for in-person and virtual meetings and forums as assigned. Assumes roles in special projects or committees, as assigned. Hires, coaches, and manages student workers and interns, as needed.
