Position Summary

  • Operate and maintain our HP Indigo Digital Presses.
  • Sets-up print jobs in accordance with job ticket and product specification documents.
  • Monitor the digital printing presses to maintain print quality and optimize productive and minimize waste.
  • Perform adjustments accurately, efficiently, and according to procedure—minimizing unexpected downtime and service calls.
  • Perform daily maintenance, on schedule according to procedure to promote machine stability and dependability.
  • Follows all safety guidelines for proper material handling, machine, and tooling use.
  • Support/work all aspects of the comping process as needed - CAD table, hand assembly, shrink-wrapping, packaging and shipping.
Essential Responsibilities, Accountabilities & Results
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality control checks.
  • Detail oriented and able to multi-task in a busy work atmosphere.
  • Knowledge of digital printing process.
  • Knowledge of post-press finishing process, i.e. cutting, binding, and shrink-wrapping.
  • Intermediate computer skills – Microsoft Office Suite, etc.
  • Sense of urgency in relation to meeting production goals.
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Ability to understand, remember, and apply/follow written and verbal instructions.
Educational & Experience Minimum Requirements

This position requires the following knowledge and skills:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Previous equipment operation experience in the print industry.
  • Basic computer skills
  • Detail-oriented, dependable, and self-motivated.
  • Positive outlook, goal-oriented, and reliable
  • Critical thinking
  • Proficiency in reading measurements
  • Basic math
  • Read and follow instructions.
  • Self-motivated and team player
  • Knowledge of print industry
