POSITION PURPOSE:

This role provides leadership over web customer experience, including UX design and architecture for the American Woodmark Corporation. The Digital UX Manager provides input to AWC marketing leadership on digital marketing strategy for the company and manages the web platform for our corporate and product brands to effectively engage our customers.

Experience


* Minimum of 8 years of website portfolio management or similar with emphasis on UX design, web content authoring/digital communications, customer journeys/segmentation, SEO/SEM
* Demonstrated understanding of content authoring and web design skills in enterprise CMS environments such as Adobe Experience, WordPress, Drupal, Magento, HubSpot or other is a plus
* Applied education or technical work experience in web/software development, or related field is a plus or related field preferred - graduate degree or certifications in listed fields is a plus
* Experience leading cross functional teams and directly managing others

Skills


* Advanced skills in Microsoft products, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access
* Strong, demonstrated problem-solving skills
* Excellent planning, project management and organizing skills - high attention to detail
* Excellent oral and written communication and organization skills
* Ability to build effective business relationships with internal/external clients

Education

· Bachelor's degree in digital/marketing, business/economics, UX or creative design, computer science


* Applied education or technical work experience in web/software development, or related field is preferred - graduate degree or certifications in listed fields is a plus

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


* Define the web UX strategy for a network of brands under the American Woodmark umbrella
* Provide leadership and expertise on UX design to business and brand/marketing leaders
* Lead company-wide web development projects and experience improvement work through agile methodology
* Sustain a web-based customer experience that helps further channel and brand marketing goals
* Identify and manage digital KPI's that align to key business drivers
* Drive experience personalization for customers through web UX
* Lead cross-functional teams which engage brand management, sales, digital, and external web agency vendors
* Ensure company awareness of and compliance with all data security and protection regulations
* Vet and manage web agency relationships and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements
* Supply company expertise on emerging technologies/strategies and opportunities with UX design & CMS
* Responsible for developing and executing annual website budget with Channel Marketing Leaders
* Demonstrate understanding of key business drivers, including revenue and profitability
* Adherence and promotion of the company's core values and CITE principals
* Other duties and initiatives as assigned by leadership
* Supervisory Responsibilities:


* This role may have management/leadership responsibility for other salary employees. Expectations include performance evaluations, providing direction, leadership, discipline, and personnel training and development.
* Primary Measurements:


* Achievement of digital metric and customer engagement targets, such as web performance and sales conversion
* Execution of key projects on time and within budget

SCOPE & EXPECATIONS:


* Read and interpret common business documents including contracts, charts, graphs and diagrams.
* Listen and communicate effectively with customers/clients in an effort to carry out responsibilities or respond to common inquiries from customers/clients, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community and public.
* Handle ambiguity and drive projects to meet key milestones, deadlines, and metrics while working closely with multiple stakeholders groups, including internal clients and external customers or consumers.
* Define problems, determine failure points, establish facts, utilize data, and identify solutions.
* Interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

* Work Location: Remote opportunities available
* Travel Requirements:


* Flexibility to travel up to 20% of the time
