Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Lead and develop R&D projects across multiple disciplines and build a robust pipeline of talent and knowledge.
Collaborate closely with other internal engineering teams to optimize new product development from concept to manufacturing.
Evaluate emerging technologies and generate ideas for incorporating them into existing and new products. Design and build prototypes for evaluation of new product ideas.
Develop project documentation including specifications, schematic diagrams review, PCB layouts review, schedules to meet requirements.
Lead Technical discussions with OEMs, System Integrators and Channel Partners globally
Lay out a product road map for our IIoT and Electronics portfolio working closely with Product Management.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following:

Minimum BS in Engineering, MS / MBA preferred.
7-10 years of experience developing, designing, and implementing new products with medium to high complexity in industrial applications.
Hands-on experience with measurement or sensing products.
Direct customer facing experience to evaluate and understand technical requirements
Understanding of Industry standard protocols, secure wireless communication and cloud infrastructure.
Strong problem solving, debug, and failure analysis skills along with a solid understanding of core engineering principles, fundamental design, and analytical techniques.
Strong communication skills and the ability to clearly express technical concepts in verbal and written forms at the executive level.
Ability to travel regularly to our various sites in New Jersey, Ohio, Connecticut and California as required. Some international travel to Europe and Asia may be required.
US Citizenship is required to be able to work on Space and Security project
