This team is charged with creating meaningful and innovative content for Executive leadership while building and enhancing the organization's reputation, and engaging audiences such as consumers, media, and PayPal's own employees. The Director of Communications and Change Management will also be focused on driving organizational change management across the department in addition to fostering employee engagement amongst its employees.

Your Day to Day:

Communications

  • Implement communication strategies ensuring all content is consistent with the direction of the BITS Organization and reflects the core values that contribute to PayPal culture
  • Collaborate closely with Technology Communications to structure plans through coordination, development, and implementation.
  • Execute effective and applicable messages, briefings and documents to a diverse audience.
  • Build cohesive and strong relationships with senior-most stakeholders within but not limited to the organization, the industry, the community, and media.
  • Drive and manage multiple proactive and reactive campaigns and opportunities through the organization.
  • Implement communication strategies ensuring all content is consistent with the direction of the BITS Organization and reflects the core values that contribute to PayPal culture

Organizational Change Management & Operational Readiness
  • Focuses on the people-side of change, this leader will be responsible for driving out the successful adoption of a project/initiative by employees to include new business processes, systems, technology, and/or job roles.
  • Oversee all aspects of change management and operational readiness for the BITS organization and recommend ways to improve quality, delivery, change management controls, and efficiency across the business.
  • Partner with stakeholders to develop, manage, and facilitate the Communications, Change Strategy, Plan and Training.
  • Responsible for enterprise-wide communication of the project, driving operational excellence of the team, developing training strategies and plans, so global users are ready and willing to adopt the solution upon deployment.
  • Develop strategy and approach by using PMO methodology to create a change management project plan to fit the stakeholders/customers' needs, deliver within budget on desired outcomes, expand use of frameworks, methodologies, and tools to expand business change, system adoption and execution across the enterprise

Employee Engagement
  • Drive culture and engagement activities through various channels to ensure BITS employees feel seen, heard, recognized and celebrated.
  • Work collaboratively with teams throughout the organization to execute on focus areas set forth by the leadership team
  • Partner closely with HR, Customer Experience, Training and other key workstreams to develop strategies and tactics that support and promote an organizational culture that encourage high performance, high morale, integrity, trust and teamwork
  • Identify unique opportunities to create value and engage employee and stakeholder involvement
  • Organize program and logistics for the CIO leadership team, including preparing for and hosting events and meetings
  • Leverage various mediums of employee feedback to identify priority areas for the team
  • Drive culture and engagement activities through various channels to ensure BITS employees feel seen, heard, recognized and celebrated.

What You Need to Bring:
  • Minimum 10 years in Communications and/or Marketing required
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in organizational change management related to technology, software, or products, experience across the full organizational change lifecycle, proficiency in various change methodologies and approaches/tools,
  • Minimum of 5-7 years supervisory/managerial experience
  • Transformation Experience
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively across a highly matrixed organization
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills; Previous experience interacting and working with Executive Leaders.
  • Project Management experience with the ability to develop project plans, manage individual deadlines and goals.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications with a strong emphasis on Power Point
