The PayPal Enterprise Cybersecurity organization is looking for a collaborative and strategically oriented operations professional to join the team supporting the Head of the Office of the Chief Information Security Officer.

What you need to know about the role:

This individual will serve as the Business Operations Team Leader and will be a trusted advisor to the leadership team and help drive a range of multi-disciplinary operating rhythms and transformation initiatives to help shape, implement, and manage the organization's operating plan, strategy, and engagement. Operating rhythms include development of strategic plans and progress against them, team composition/evaluation, and team engagement/culture.

Meet our team:

The role requires a high degree of relationship management, and stakeholders include executives across the enterprise, engineering teams, product management, PMO, Business Operations, Finance, the People team (HR) and many others. This position will be the main conduit to the PPE Business Operations organization and will be a part of that leadership community.

Your day to day:

The ideal candidate will have proven experience working closely with executives in a fast-paced environment; applying strong consultative skills, including business acumen, customer empathy, and the ability to influence and partner. This person thrives in a dynamic, global, fluid, matrix environment and is results focused. They are comfortable leading from both the front and back, as situations dictate.

Your way to impact:

  • Partner with senior ECS leadership to define and drive a strategic vision, along with driving OKR/goals planning and tracking.
  • Evolve team operating model including processes to enable strategic planning along with identify opportunities for simplification, quality, and productivity improvement; Deliver the analysis and associated actions necessary to enable continuous improvement
  • Deliver spending plans, allocation and oversight processes and hiring strategies to enable judicious management of Opex dollars to/below budget, reflecting business priorities
  • Create, implement, and drive operating rhythms, relevant artifacts, and team events to enable better communications and engagement up down and across functions & teams; optimize cadences, drive agenda and prep for internal team rhythms, management/executive reviews
  • Partner with senior ECS leadership to define and drive a strategic vision

  • Be a thoughtful steward of the cultural values we strive for as a company (collaboration, innovation, inclusion, wellness) and an ambassador of for enterprise-wide activities
  • Inspire, manage, and develop a small business operations team

  • History in communications, business & strategy development preferred

$118700 to $246290
