Director of Immunology Direct-hire opportunity for a Director of Immunology for a drug discovery leader with significant industry-based experience within immunology. Ideally will also have experience in neuroscience and/ or neuroinflammation (Parkinson's, Multiple Sclerosis, Alzheimer's, etc.).

What You Will Be Doing Reporting to the SVP of Drug Discovery, the Director will set the strategic direction for current and future small molecule targets within drug discovery and development across multiple therapeutic areas.

Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple scientists and research associates
- Advance programs forward from inception into IND-enabling studies
- As needed, train team members in cell culture, molecular biology, flow cytometry, and/or protein biochemistry
- Data review and analysis to enable program go/no-go decisions
- Collaborate with external vendors and collaborators
What You Need for this Position - PhD + 8 years' experience, preferably in industry
- Exceptional BS/MS graduates with extensive, proven industry experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis
- Deep understanding of human biology and neuro-immunology
- Experience in neuroinflammation and/or neurodegenerative disease drug discovery
- Preferred experience leading a research group from discovery through DC nomination
- Leadership experience in drug discovery, development, and translational research
