Based in Wilmington, DE, you'll be part of our Biopharmaceuticals Business Unit, where we reimagine the patient journey and bring it to life.

Accountabilities:

As the Director, you will be responsible for the internal and external reporting for AstraZeneca US and MedImmune, our biologics unit. You will be responsible for supporting the financial statement consolidation of AZ US's legal entities and reporting financial results to the Group Reporting team on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. You will also ensure compliance the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and research technical accounting and reporting issues to ensure compliance with IFRS, US GAAP & AstraZeneca Group Finance policies and procedures.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Accounting, Finance)
  • 10 years of growing accounting, finance, and operational experience
  • Excellent communication skills, including oral and written
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and supervisory skills with ability to meet deadlines
  • Proven ability to perform in an ambitious environment while emphasizing partnership

Desirable Skills/Experience:
  • MBA and/or CPA
  • Prior Big 4 audit experience in the bio/pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience leading teams directly and indirectly
