Job Details:

This position is primarily responsible for assisting in the organization and administration of all Safety related information for our Long Haul, Short Haul and Regional Drivers. This position will perform data entry functions involving Accident Information, Self-Certification, Citations, and Inspection tracking, as well as State and Federal Government Required filings for our drivers. This position will also complete the required Employment History Verifications as required by the FMCSA.

This position will be in frequent communication with all Terminal Managers, Fleet Managers, Drivers, and other company representatives, as well as members of the public and government representatives on local and state levels. This role may also be called upon to perform other administrative duties and tasks as assigned.

This role is responsible for assessing compliance with Federal and State Regulations and Company Policies concerning our drivers. It's crucial because any driver found to be out of compliance cannot operate a Tyson Commercial Motor Vehicle on public roads. Failure to fulfill assigned duties could significantly impact the drivers we serve and consequently Tyson Foods as a whole.

1st Shift: 7:30AM - 4:30PM

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience: 1 plus years Office experience preferred.
Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Office programs is essential, with a particular emphasis on Excel, including formula writing and graph creation to support operational needs.
Communication: Strong verbal communication skills are vital for this role. Interacting with various levels within Tyson Foods requires the ability to communicate effectively across different levels for success.
