Basic Job Functions:

The role of Division Accountant will require you to demonstrate a high level of integrity and ownership, as well as demonstrate a positive attitude and strong ability to work on a team. This position will be responsible for the execution of day-to-day, month-end, quarter-end and year-end financial responsibilities, as well as long-term projects assigned by supervisor and/or management. The qualified candidate must have the ability to work in a self-motivated, dynamic team environment with tight deadlines that may require working extended hours and/or working on holidays. Occasional travel to other Nucor locations will be required. This candidate will be expected to develop quickly and be promotable into a leadership role.

• Nucor Cold Finish Wisconsin - Oak Creek, WI

Long Description

General Responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with GAAP accounting and financial reporting
• Cost accounting & cost analysis
• Constant focus on process improvement and innovative solutions to challenges
• Ownership of long-term projects
• Cross training within finance department
• Collaboration across division and corporation
• Cooperating with and supporting production teammates

Minimum Qualifications:

BA in Accounting or Finance

Strong Microsoft Excel skills

Willingness to relocate for future advancement

Preferred Qualifications:

MBA, MAcc or CPA

Previous experience in steelmaking or manufacturing accounting

Leadership experience

Experience with data analysis tools such as PowerBI
