SUMMARY

The Document Control Lead oversees the configuration management/document control department, supervises direct reports, and leads efforts to reduce waste, enhance safety/quality, and meet customer/regulatory requirements. They act as the primary contact for operations, program management, and purchasing departments, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of documentation for all product builds and process operations.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

* ERP Data Management: Manage part numbers, BOMs, and routers and process change orders (ECOs) within the ERP system; create new data or modify existing information as needed.
* Document Handling: Transfer PDF drawings to the designated folder for departmental access; maintain engineering change order (ECO) records.
* Process Efficiency: Timely process ECOs; review and maintenance of engineering drawing data; management of customer drawing/specification data.
* Technical Checks: Utilize CAD software for basic drawing checks related to pending ECOs.
* Workflow Coordination: Track Contract Review flow-downs from the Order Execution team and release daily Work Orders to the production floor.
* Accuracy Assurance: Perform Sales Order Screening to verify Sales Orders' accuracy.
* Data Integrity: Regularly review SAP Health Metric for Material Master errors; seek support from DE or ME to correct any identified issues.
* Part Number Maintenance: Create and manage new part numbers in SAP.

Approximately 10% of travel is expected.

SALARY INFORMATION

According to the laws of several states, the hourly/salary range for this position falls between $28.00 and $35.00 per hour. However, it is important to note that this salary information is merely a general guideline. EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

* High School Diploma or equivalent required.
* Associate's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
* 5+ years of related experience in the document control process.
* Experience in the aerospace and defense industry working within AS9100 regulations.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
* Conversational in any other language preferred.

JOB SKILLS

* Proficient in general knowledge of MS Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint is necessary.
* Advanced in BOM structure, routings, and manufacturer part numbers.
* Advanced in working within ERP systems (SAP strongly preferred).
* ITAR regulations and document management skills.
* Keen attention to detail and can work well under pressure.
* Proficiency at operating photocopying and scanning equipment.
* Demonstrated a high degree of adaptability within an ever-changing and complex environment.
* Strong analytical skills and an analytical background.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

As part of their job duties, the employee must be able to sit, stand, and walk throughout the day while frequently using their hands to handle objects and communicate verbally. Additionally, they may need to reach, stretch, push, pull, crouch, stoop, and occasionally lift objects weighing up to fifty (50) pounds. This role requires specific vision abilities, including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS

* ASTM F-2412-2005, ANSI Z41-1999, or ANSI Z41-1991 rated safety toe shoes in specific areas.
* Clear ANSI Z87.1 safety-rated glasses in specific areas.
* Hearing protection, in specific locations.
* Ability to compile with JSA in specific areas.
