Under the direction of the Associate Supervisor, the Domestic Shipper processes all incoming and outgoing materials according to established procedures and applicable regulations.

• Prepare orders for shipping: Determine packaging type, check product labels against production notice and material certificate, confirm weights/quantities (EA, TR, Grams).
• Check targets for any issues not caught by previous departments (bag seals, cleanliness, scribes)
• Process orders through Ship ERP
• Confirm all information in the system is correct with the Prod Notice and Material Cert.
• Use other shipping systems for customers that require alternate methods (Ryder Portal, Fed Ex Custom Critical, UPS Express Critical)
• Double check: Make sure all steps were followed exactly and all documents (paperwork and labels) and packing methods are correct.
• Communicate across multiple internal areas

REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma and / or GED
• Good computer skills
• Related experience/training processing shipments preferred
• Fed-Ex, UPS computer shipping systems experience preferred
• Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 45 pounds
