The Driver/Water Technician transports equipment, supplies, documents, etc. to and from facilities and other off-site facilities as required and in accordance with DaVita policies, procedures, and service agreements. This person will also maintain the water system related to dialysis services within the dialysis unit of the hospital.
- Transports equipment or supplies from location to location as directed
- Operates a motor vehicle (typically a box truck) according to all applicable traffic laws and safe vehicle standards
- Other duties as assigned including inventory management and water technician responsibilities
Some details about the position:
- The typical schedule will be Monday-Friday, daytime hours.
- On-call required for evening and weekend requests one week per month
- Must be comfortable commuting throughout Orange County and North San Diego County as needed.
Requirements:
- State issued driver's license and a clean driving record
- Ability to pass DMV physical
- Previous experience driving large vehicles (box trucks, etc) preferred
