As the E-commerce Marketing Manager you will support the day-to-day online operations responsibility for top line parts and whole goods sales, operating metrics, social media, advertising/promotions, site marketing & maintenance.

This includes multiple site/brand operations, administration, promotions, marketing, planning, strategy, and reporting. An analytical and strategic thinker is required to balance new customer acquisition programs with retention initiatives as well as identifying and embarking on business development opportunities.

This role has the opportunity to work remote.

What will you do?

  • Responsible for planning our e-commerce marketing strategy (which includes multiple brands and web-site properties) and insuring its proper implementation.
  • Proficiency in web analytics, performance marketing analytics, customer segmentation and testing/optimization techniques.
  • Provide valuable market intelligence by frequently documenting and analyzing the merchandising and product strategies of best-in-class eCommerce companies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to motivate, negotiate, and persuade.
  • Problem solving/analytical abilities, including business modeling and cost/benefit analysis.
  • Ability to influence and drive organizational change.
  • Must be able to define a vision and take that vision through to execution.
  • Strong understanding of paid digital media universe and demonstrated ability to build robust digital media plans that deliver results.
  • Strong proficiency in online merchandising, user experience design, and usability best practices.
  • Track record of innovative strategic thinking combined with pragmatic, roll-up-the-sleeves execution, and results delivery.

Job Dimensions
  • Must work closely with other Marketing Managers to insure alignment of strategies
  • Must work collaboratively with shared Toro IT resources.
  • Manage multiple brands and varying e-commerce websites.
  • Manage external technology partners.
  • E-commerce strategies will have a heavy emphasis on growing our important parts and aftermarket product lines but will likely move to online selling of whole goods as well.

What will you need?
  • Five years working in a successful retail e-commerce business.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field.
  • Extremely entrepreneurial, passionate about the consumer experience and savvy about managing business goals.
  • Knowledge of e-commerce best practices and analyzing consumer trends and online marketing tactics.(SEO, SEM, Email, etc.)
  • Data-driven; clear understanding of retail and marketing metrics using Google Analytics; commitment to increasing profit and ROI.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills & ability to work with cross-functional teams and lead our external vendors.
  • Strong ability to execute with excellence and enjoy managing the details.
  • Self-motivated and resourceful with a creative mindset to develop attractive promotional ideas plus the ability to execute them.
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics, CRM, Excel.
  • Ability to work under pressure and deadlines; and must be able to manage multiple projects/priorities
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
