Expertise and Functions
- Demonstrates subject matter expertise in two or more of the following measurement disciplines: Radio and Microwave Frequency, Alternating & Direct Current, Time and Frequency, and Electro-Optical precision measuring equipment and systems
- Demonstrates knowledge of the functions, principles, theories, concepts, techniques, and methodology of metrology/calibration systems
- Demonstrates knowledge and mastery of qualitative and quantitative analytical techniques and evaluation methods used for the assessment and improvement of processes and/or product quality
- Demonstrates knowledge of the requirements found in the International Standard for Metrology and Calibration 'General Requirements for Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories' ISO 17025
- Demonstrates knowledge and experience with the development of Calibration Requirements Analyses and/or Instrument Calibration Procedures
- Demonstrates skill in oral and written communication necessary to develop and present reports of work accomplished including Metrology Engineering Projects and related Metrology Engineering Investigations
- Other duties as assigned
