The Electrical System Engineer in the Compact and Large Tractor Systems team supports the design and development of electrical and electronic systems for CNH tractor platforms.

This individual works in collaboration with management, vehicle engineering, production, and marketing teams in order to develop tractor systems. The engineer delivers electrical designs and functional specifications for the system. The development is coordinated by the system engineer with software, component, and test teams or in collaboration with external supplier engineering teams.

The system engineer may work in collaboration with other engineering teams within CNH to define tractor-specific interfaces or requirements for systems that incorporate components common to other products.

The engineer also supports the development of tractor systems through simulation, bench, or vehicle testing to confirm compliance to specification or to root cause field issues.

Position Pays $91,300 to $132,000 (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Systems Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
  • 3-6 years of relevant experience
  • Exposure or experience through coursework to embedded electronic control systems

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Off-Highway/On-Highway embedded electronic equipment
  • Experience with control systems and electronic components design
  • Demonstrated technical leadership and organizational skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills to communicate technical information
