YOUR ROLE

· Electrical Controls Technician provides leadership/direction to crew members to optimize planning, scheduling and completion of electrical activities & project execution to improve operations reliability results.

· Successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in Wonderware, PLC & Allen Bradley hardware & software systems to assist in troubleshooting/improvement efforts.

· Safety is a fundamental aspect of the role and is part of everyone's responsibility.

· Excellent communication skills, including leading effective meetings, training & conveying proper skills/ techniques to others, & effective reinforcement of appropriate work/quality standards with on topics such as safety, quality and housekeeping.

· Troubleshoot/repair electrical instrumentation, control system hardware & software.

· Analyze and determine proper corrective action to resolve electrical problems.

· Expand existing plant electrical service in complete accordance with the latest edition of National Electrical Code.

YOUR SKILLS

· Minimum five years satisfactory experience in industrial-type electrical maintenance work or equivalent amount of technical schooling and experience.

· Must achieve acceptable scores on Validated Assessments. Basic capabilities in the use of test equipment, excellent verbal & written communication skills.

· Read/interpret electrical schematics.

· Must have experience with 120V, 240V, and 440V power distribution systems.

· Demonstrate leadership skills (communications, teamwork, problem solving, decision making)

· Able to wear a respirator and other PPE as required; must pass pulmonary function test.

· Corrective vision/be able to pass the fork truck/elevator-platform lifts certification test.

· Programming/troubleshooting knowledge of Allen Bradley programmable controllers.

· Programming knowledge of Wonderware systems Knowledge of equipment up to 480 volts 3 phase, experience with 4-20 ma instrument circuits, able to bend and hang conduit Shifts 11:00P - 7:00A or 3:00P-12:00A
