--This role is a hybrid role that only requires you to go in the office one week out of the month. We do require candidates to be local to Santa Maria CA , but are also willing to relocate.--
What You Will Be Doing This position will be working on real-time avionics and flight termination system embedded software.

Create an architecture for real-time embedded avionics software. Real-time embedded avionics programming and flight termination system development using VxWorks Assurance of embedded software design documentation for software
End-to-end embedded software, hardware, and electronics testing To meet the software needs of the customer, create engineering documentation.
Required abilities:
What You Need for this Position -5+ years of expertise in VxWorks programming, embedded software engineering for FPGA and Microcontroller, and analysis and interpretation of engineering data or physical phenomena.
Technical Expertise
FPGA and Microcontroller (Atom, PIC, Atmel, etc.) and embedded software "proficient in all aspects of engineering development (requirements, design, test, and production)"
"VxWorks embedded software programming in C/C++ for safety critical systems" "Familiarity with AUTOSAR and MISRA C++ Guidelines for safety critical systems" "Real-time Operating Systems (VxWorks, Linux, etc.) running multiple digital I/O
