VCA Advanced Veterinary Care Center is seeking a Hospitalist who enjoys practicing advanced medicine with a cohesive, tenured team to join our Emergency and Critical Care Department in our multi-disciplinary specialty practice located just outside of Indianapolis in beautiful Fishers, IN.

Our practice enjoys a strong referral base and you'll be supported by specialists in Internal Medicine, Nutrition, Neurology & Neurosurgery, Oncology (medical and radiation), Ophthalmology, Surgery (orthopedic & soft tissue), Radiology and Physical Rehabilitation.

Our 30,000 sq. ft. facility includes the latest state of the art equipment with a 1.5 Tesla MRI, Helical CT, linear accelerator, fluoroscopy, two digital radiology rooms, two GE ultrasound units, a combo thoracoscopy/x-ray table and full endoscopy equipment. Our practice enjoys a strong referral base and you'll be supported by specialists in Internal Medicine, Nutrition, Neurology & Neurosurgery, Oncology (medical and radiation), Ophthalmology, Surgery (orthopedic & soft tissue), Radiology and Physical Rehabilitation.

The Hospitalist position is a full-time position working 3 days a week. Shifts are 12 hours from 6:30am to 6:30pm. The position will require rotating weekends with our current hospitalist. No specialty training or eligibility is required, although internship trained is a plus. The qualified candidate will primarily oversee hospitalized pets, managing our critical care wards, and would be seeing some emergency cases working alongside our current ER doctors. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow, be supported, and work within a large specialty hospital. We are looking for daytime and nighttime doctors. Weekend rotation will be required.
