Minimum Qualifications: 
High schooldiploma or equivalent with basic computer skills. AEMT or Paramedic License.Preferred: Associates Degree with health care experience. InstructorCoordinator or Assistant licensure.

GeneralFunction: 
TheSimulation Lab Technician primary responsibility is to maintain all labs forParamedic and EMT/AEMT locations. They will report directly to the EMS Directorand will focus on inventory, maintenance of Simulators and responsible forNREMT testing.

Major Dutiesand Responsibilities:
Duties and responsibilities listed are examples ofwork performed and may be modified as needs of the College may dictate.

Inventory equipment Monthly and make recommendations for purchase.
Organize lab supplies in the skills labs.
Maintain an inventory of supplies to ensure lab supplies are sufficient for each class.
Assist setting up and putting away equipment and supplies used in labs and simulations.
Keep the skills labs clean and orderly.
Coordinate sending lab supplies to other sites as needed.
Minor maintenance and cleaning of simulators as needed.
Setup for NREMT Testing for all levels. Work with coordinators as a liaison with State EMS to ensure each station is properly set-up.
Provide assistance to faculty and/or students in the clinical lab setting.
Assist faculty with the development of new skills modules and scenarios.
Assist with special projects or initiatives as needed.
Comply with accreditation and regulatory standards
