Job you will do

Typical Day in the Life

We are currently seeking an Energy Incentives Manager to lead studies pertaining to the Code 45L - New energy efficient home credit. Tasks will include developing residential building energy models using approved software such as REM/Rate and Ekotrope, as well asfacilitating field inspections of client facilities. This position could be remote or based out of any of our offices. A typical day as an Energy Incentives Manager on the Fixed Asset Services Team might include the following:

  • Develop residential building energy models for the 45L tax credit.
  • Perform calculations outside the modeling software, as required.
  • Analyze blueprints to identify energy-efficient components and facilitate physical site inspections, nationwide.
  • Write and review reports that support findings from energy modeling analyses.
  • Exercise creative thinking to devise new systems and innovative ways to work.
  • Focus on project or task at hand, follow-through on a plan, and create solutions to get the job done.

Who You Are
  • You have a minimum of 3-years of experience using residential energy simulation modeling software. (i.e. Ekotrope, REM/Rate, EnergyGauge or Micropas).
  • RESNET HERS Rater (Home Energy Rating System Rater) designation is a major plus.
  • You have strong computer skills and are proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • You can interact and communicate effectively to all levels at an organization.
  • You have strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to identify the source of a problem and create and test solutions.
  • You are open to travel (around 15-25% is required) and can travel and work at locations around the Firm and at client locations.
  • In addition to all of this, you possess a bachelor's degree in Energy Management, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Studies, or Architecture.
Must be authorized to work in the United States permanently without the requirement of sponsorship at any point in the future.
