Job Responsibilities:
DDS Engineering and Surveying, LLP (DDSE), is an experienced and highly qualified civil engineering, permitting and survey firm that has been performing consulting engineering and construction services in the land development arena for many years. We provide relevant, broad-based insight and consultation to our clients, whether we are designing and planning complex land development projects, performing field survey, or preparing permitting applications in support of your project. Our dynamic team is comprised of experienced civil and mechanical engineers, environmental compliance experts, surveyors, construction personnel as well as in-house staff expertise in the areas of legal, and safety. With flexibility in location (NY, PA, MA,) our fast-growing Land Development division is seeking thoughtful and highly motivated individuals to be part of our team.

The Sr. Civil Engineering Project Manager is responsible leading all phases of engineering and design efforts related to land development related projects. This role will have direct client interaction and will manage the design, engineering, permitting and approvals necessary for all projects as well as directing the work of internal and external resources. This individual can also expect to perform business development, proposal writing, prepare man-hour estimates as necessary and have responsibilities for managing client relationships.

Job Qualifications:
Skills and Experience

Required

• A minimum of 10 years related experience in land development project engineering
• At least 3 years of experience working in a project management capacity
• Significant hands-on experience with AutoCAD, Microsoft Word and Excel
• Self-starter, highly motivated, team player with strong organizational and communication skills and the ability to lead others
• Ability to interact with clients, customers, officials, contractors and internal staff
• Professional Engineering License
• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent practical experience

Preferred

• Professional Engineering License in additional States for locations shown below
• Local, county, and state permitting experience
