*What You Do.*



* Work as part of a team, communicate effectively, prepare simple Mechanical, Electrical or Plumbing engineering drawings

* Develop 2D and 3D CAD skills through training and job experience

* Provide support to Engineering Department

* Youth Apprenticeship is a 450 - 600 hour position. 200 - 350 hours are completed in the summer and 250 hours are completed during the school year


*Your Education and Experience.*



* Must be junior or senior in high school in the 2024-25 school year




* Ability to start on June 17, 2024 and end May 30, 2025

If offered a position the student must then provide Sargento with the Youth Apprenticeship program application paperwork from their High School Counselor.

* High school student with some mechanical, electrical, or plumbing drafting experience or interest. No CAD experience is required but this person will be trained to operate CAD systems

* Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new equipment/procedures 

* Ability to learn Sargento CAD and BIM guidelines, drafting procedures and techniques
