ECS is seeking an Enterprise Antivirus Administrator to work in our Raleigh/Durham, NC office.

Job Description:
The responsibilities for the Enterprise Antivirus Administrator consist of operational support for the EPA production environment and associated infrastructures, research and design of new software applications/versions, configuration, testing, documentation, and deployment of software clients/patches for the agency.

Position responsibilities to include:

  • Participating in administration of security management infrastructure and software (Microsoft Defender solutions - AV, ATP)
  • Participating as a Desktop Engineer on the design, evaluation, deployment, management, support of enterprise applications and infrastructures
  • Participating in administration activities such as patching, upgrades, backups, health checks
  • Packaging, testing and deploying business software packages and updates for the end-user environment
  • Executing inventory management processes of end-user hardware and software assets
  • Designing and executing custom compliance reports
  • Resolving tickets and incidents submitted by admins and/or end users
  • Providing support for tier 2 issue escalations/tickets.

Required Skills:
  • Strong experience with security management software and threat protection technologies (Microsoft Defender AV, ATP, Application Control)
  • 3-7 years of supporting a large enterprise environment
  • 3-5 years of security compliance experience
  • Strong experience with creating custom reports (specific to security compliance)
  • Strong understanding of OS system settings, management settings and navigation.
  • Expert knowledge of Windows operating systems
  • Strong understanding of Active Directory management
  • Strong understanding of patch management solutions
  • Strong understanding of networking, DNS, and infrastructure concepts
  • Good understanding of enterprise architecture competencies
  • Good understanding of enterprise software license agreements and deployment considerations
  • Good understanding of DISA STIG standards and publications
  • Good understanding of virtualization technologies

Desired Skills:
  • Information Security Certification (Sec+, CISSP, etc)
  • Experience with ServiceNow
  • Experience with McAfee ePO, ENS, and/or App Control
