A well-respected Mechanical Contractor who operates in the Southeastern US, specializing in various projects including HVAC and Plumbing. They are an established Mechanical Contractor who have been in the industry for years, have a solid reputation, great company culture, and many upcoming projects.

Your new role

As an MEP Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for various plumbing projects, including commercial, industrial, and residential buildings. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure the best quality and value for each project. You will also perform site visits, attend pre-bid meetings, review plans and specifications, and analyze project risks.

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this role, you should have a Mechanical Engineering or Plumbing Technology degree and at least 5 years of relevant estimating experience on MEP or plumbing projects. You should also have strong knowledge of plumbing codes, standards, and materials, as well as excellent communication, negotiation, and computer skills. Experience with estimating software such as Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, or Quick Bid is a plus.
