Our events include New York Comic Con, the PAX events, Star Wars Celebration, Star Trek Mission, C2E2, and over a dozen more. As part of our continued focus on creating amazing experiences for our fans and stunning events for our branded partners, we are looking for a Branded Event Coordinator to help our existing team of events and pop culture professionals. This is a unique role which will require a skilled, dynamic professional to be front and center with our counterparts within some of the largest brands in the world, including Star Wars, Star Trek, and several others to be announced soon. This role will provide exposure to all aspects of event management including: content marketing, logistics, partner & vendor management, and everything in between to help execute a fantastic event.

The Branded Event Coordinator should be in tune with the comics, movies, TV, and pop culture of our communities and instinctively know how to deliver the type of fan experience that keeps our audiences coming back year after year.

BRING YOUR PASSION AND EXPERTISE:

  • Collaborate across multiple lines of business to drive alignment between internal stakeholders and our clients
  • Work closely with leadership, operations and show team to ensure timely, accurate show builds including but not limited to: queueing, signage, staffing, room sets, show feature areas and content rooms
  • Build and distribute and manage all project timelines and schedule of deliverables from partners, leadership and the team
  • Coordinate with each team daily to support communications, reinforce deadlines and aid in trouble-shooting any and all roadblocks
  • Work with Customer Service team to create and manage each event's FAQs, providing rolling updates throughout the year, maintaining said FAQ documents and being first point of contact for Customer Service team's follow up questions to maintain clear comms between departments
  • Manage onsite housing list for Staff and Partners for each Event
  • Manage staff and crew shirt sizing and coordinate with Marketing and Merchandise team to get shirts created/provided onsite
  • Build onsite FAQ and onsite guide for show team, partners, Crew members and others
  • Regularly audit copy, images and content announcements for show websites and social media channels
  • Maintain and follow all brand and style guides for each client, ensuring consistency across all platforms
  • Collaborate with external project stakeholders and vendors as needed
  • Be innovative in your approach and always think about what new tools, ideas and solutions will authentically appeal to our audiences and improve their experience
  • Work closely with the marketing team and brand partners on the timing of all press releases and announcements related to content at the event
  • Create and cultivate a ''one team'' approach through collaboration with event management, talent, marketing, finance, and operations

THE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Collaborate across multiple lines of business to drive alignment between internal stakeholders and our clients
  • College degree in Event Management, Project Management, Marketing or equivalent business training preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in live events, project management, marketing, client relations or other relevant field
  • Organized, detail oriented & proactive with a strong sense of ownership and a true passion for pop culture, fan communities and the brands we work with
  • Ability to multi-task, shift priorities and focus on finding solutions
  • Must have a strong capacity for working independently and collaboratively, and have effective time management skills
  • Expert level knowledge of Excel, Word, Powerpoint preferred
  • We are looking for a creative thinker and a problem solver - someone who can deliver innovative content ideas that fans will love and also be capable of executing them
  • Able to adjust and thrive within a fast-paced work environment with unpredictable deadlines and schedules
  • Secure enough in yourself to be able to ask for help, say ''I don't know'' and always learn from your mistakes
  • Some travel is required. Approximately 6-8 times per year

We have a Norwalk, CT, office location, and this role can be based either there, or remotely from within the US.
