Job Description

• Activity involves cutting, drilling, and saw concrete on highways, roads, commercial building, or other structures
• Preparing construction sites, materials, and tools, removing concrete debris
• Assembling and breaking down barricades, temporary structures, and scaffolding,
• Assist in demolition activities
• Work at various job sites/locations based on dispatch schedule
• Work is generally a loud outdoor environment, and be able to perform physical tasks in the heat, humidity cold, rain (all weather environment)
• Schedule can be day/night/weekends and or out town if necessary
• Follows ALL safety and health regulations prescribed by Penhall, OSHA, DOT, alcohol, and drug free requirements

• Must be safety oriented: awareness of hazards and alertness to danger
• Must have a minimum of one-year solid experience with: core drilling, concrete sawing, cutting and /or removal using cutting edge machinery and industry leading technology
• Must be proficient in any or all the following diamond or demolition tools: wall saw, core drill, flat saw, handsaws, ring saws and/or compressor tools
• Ability to perform tasks in heat, humility, cold, rain (all weather environment)
• Able to workday/night/weekends or out of town, if necessary
• Work independently or with a team, as needed.
• Strong mechanical abilities: Communicate, problem solving, attention to detail, collaboration, observation, active listening
• Participates in a variety of construction projects that will require, physical strength (be able to lift and move 45lbs or more), heavy lifting, endurance, manual dexterity(hands, hand with arm, two hands and multi-limb coordination), strong eyesight, good hearing, motor accuracy, fine motor skills
• Comfortable taking a hands-on approach. Have a career-oriented mindset, be able to thrive & willing to learn new task assigned and grow with Penhall (opportunities for advancement available)
• Fast learner, that can follow instructions (written or verbal) with strong mechanical abilities.
• Assisting co-workers as required Mathematical aptitude helpful (willing to train measurements & calculations)
• Must have reliable transportation to and from jobs sites including a valid driver's license if operating a company vehicle
• Pass a required pre-employment and random drug screen
• Pass a pre-employment background check
