Glass Cut

Fab Technician I - 1st Shift

Position Summary

The purpose of this position is to cut glass to specifications of daily orders.

Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities

• Input daily schedule in the computer
• Load appropriate glass
• Break out the completed glass and put in appropriate glass cart
• Move glass and clear racks into the correct position in front of the washer
• Insert glass and then clear glass into the washer
• Pick completed spacer from oven and place in cart
• Additional duties may be assigned for business purposes

Qualifications and Skill Requirements

• High School diploma/GED (minimum)
• Must have at least two years of manufacturing experience preferably in a fabrication or production environment
• Basic computer skills with good working knowledge of Excel and Word software preferred
• Must have good communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask
• Be vigilant about safety
• Quality - conscious, oriented to excellence
