Position Summary

Provide leadership and oversight of planning, organizing and directing facilitiessecurity, maintenance, repair, ongoing upkeep of the Stemco Longview facility, including budgetary discretion to those areas of responsibility. Create and executes the plant's preventative maintenance plan to guarantee equipment uptime and reliability. Directs emergency repair of machinery and plant equipment, including outsourced services and spare parts inventories. Support continuous improvement, safety and productivity efforts, including implementing Total Productive Maintenance (TPM. Manage electrical, mechanical, and other maintenance technicians.

Oversees the development and implementation of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)

Leads and completes all emergency repairs of plant equipment.

Leads and completes all preventative maintenance work orders.

Manages personnel in terms of evaluation, training, and communication.

Oversees & maintains safety & emergency response systems including testing (Ex. Fire alarms / sprinklers)

Leads, monitors, and plans facility upgrades/repairs by identifying opportunities and developing plans for improvements through utilizing the appropriate tools, such as Projects, plans, CAR's, Meetings, etc.

Creates and maintains departmental discretionary budget for facility upkeep and repairs. Will serve as the primary liaison for outside contractors, to include approving bills, P.O.'s, and invoices and providing leadership through coordinating and monitoring.

First responder contact for emergent matters concerning the Facility.

Responsible for maintaining the safety and security of all on-site contractors arranged for and planned by the facility/maintenance team.

Overseeing facility safety preparedness by leading the appropriate Safety Action Team.

Assist and oversee Wastewater Management as applicable.

Performs annual risk assessment and plans mitigation efforts for the subsequent year.

Minimum Qualifications

Technical or Bachelors Degree preferred. Engineer preferred.

Minimum 3 years of demonstrated leadership skills required

Experience in the controlling and reporting of performance metrics including, but not limited to, preventive maintenance completion, uptime, and spares consumption.

Knowledge and familiarity in the development and application of TPM, including equipment reliability performance management and predictive maintenance techniques such as oil analysis, power system analysis, machine wear monitoring, etc.

5-7 years of experience required, preferably in industrial maintenance including mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, high voltage electrical systems, robotics, controls (including PLC), and material handling equipment

Facility and asset management experience required

Knowledge of welding, machining centers, paint systems, and assembly experience, preferred

Knowledge of ISO Quality and Environmental programs required. Certification preferred.

The job works in conditions with constant exposure to noise, odors, dust, drafts, chemicals, operating machinery, temperature extremes, hazardous substances, etc. Carrying, pushing, or pulling of heavy objects (over 5 lbs.) is regularly necessary. Occasional overnight travel may be required.
