CohnReznick's Legal Department is currently seeking a Federal Contracts Administrator to join their Legal Team (State and Local contracts experience is a plus)

This candidate will provide all aspects of point to point contract administration for all assigned contracts including but not limited to the following:

  • Review RFPs and prepare compliance matrices. Highlight any OCI issues and special terms and conditions. Complete associated contractual documents.
  • Issue, execute and track NDAs and Teaming Agreements to subcontractors and consultants in support of proposals. Issue and coordinate data calls to subcontractors and consultants in support of proposals.
  • Manage FSS vehicles, namely CR's GSA schedule including tracking sales under the GSA schedule, payment of Industrial Funding Fee based on GSA sales volume, schedule maintenance including price escalations, refreshes and other mods, and monitor appropriate commercial sales in accordance with MFC terms and conditions.
  • Prepare contract briefs and summarize relevant contractual data that may create performance considerations. Perform a variety of reporting functions as outlined in the contractual requirements.
  • Assist in contract close-out by completing contractual close-out documentation, verifying completion of all commitments and surveying and other performance related activities with program offices and verifying final billed amount with Accounting.
  • Liaison with CR Office of the General Counsel as necessary with regard to legal and contracting matters.
  • Request, Document and Review contract modifications and amendments to solicitations.
  • Monitor contract funding, performance end dates, and option periods in order to anticipate necessary changes in contract funding or scope of work.
  • Maintain and update contract and subcontractor/consultant files.
  • Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with Federal contracts. DoD and DHS experience.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or other relevant field
  • Strong knowledge of Contract and Subcontract Administration and Contract Types to include Time and Material, Cost Reimbursable and Fixed Price Contracts
  • Working Knowledge of the FAR and DFARS and ability to independently research FAR issues during contract negotiations
  • Experience with MAS administration and maintenance (GSA Schedules, OASIS, GWACs, Seaport-e, and other large IDIQ vehicles)
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills, motivated self-starter
  • Must be able to works independently and prioritize assigned tasks
  • Proficient use of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills a must.
  • Desire prior experience working with DHS, DoD or the intelligence community
