Feeder Catcher

FULL-TIME

$14.60/hr

The Feeder Catcher performs job duties within the Finishing Department. They are responsible for supporting the finishing department with quality of the folding operation to meet customer specifications and production schedule. Responsible for placing paper board cartons into feeding machines. Picking up paper board material and cartons from the end line, and placing cartons into boxes.

Primary responsibilities:
* Removing finished folded cartons from the press and packs them into cases.
* Inspecting job numbers on carton with job label being used to ensure accuracy.
* Feeding product into machines in an efficient manner to obtain production goals.
* Stacking cartons from loaded pallets and places them into feeder machines.
* Developing, maintaining, and posting logs, charts, and forms detailing quality levels, inspection data, and results of special quality studies for review by line mechanics, supervisors, and other production staff.
* Consulting with supervisor to determine appropriate recommendations and remedies for questionable products.
* Maintaining quality records as needed.
* Performs fast paced duties to ensure machines are properly operational.
* Performing machine checks to watch for jams.
* Assisting operators with various tasks, including; clean-up.
* Reporting unsafe conditions to the operator or management.

Schedule

Shift start: 6:30AM or 3:00PM or 10:30PM
Shift length: 10.5 hours
1st Shift is Monday-Friday 6:30am to 3:00pm : 2nd Shift is M-T 3:00pm to 1:30am. Third Shift begins at 10:30pm Sun- Friday Availability to work scheduled overtime during the weekend is required.

Qualifications
  • Must pass drug screen
  • Must pass background check
  • Can lift 50 lbs
  • Must be at least 18+ years old
Basic computer and data entry skills.Visual color discrimination, the ability to match or detect differences between colors, including shades of colors.
