ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
- Working with marketing and other departments to prepare sales plans and bids, ensuring technical and financial accuracy.
- Working with the wider sales team to identify and develop new market opportunities.
- Using your knowledge of customers’ needs and Dodge’s solutions to determine effective solutions for customers.
- Monitoring customer and market trends along with the marketing team to develop effective marketing activities
- Up to 50% travel required
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Distribution and minimum 2 years of experience working in the power transmission field.
EXPERIENCE:
- Dodge product application knowledge with the ability to recommend suitable products to customers and to differentiate products from those of the competition.
- Capable of appraising commercial business situations, both internal and external, and determining course of action.
- Trained to sell mechanical power transmission products in industrial applications.
SKILLS / CERTIFICATIONS:
- Effective communication skills with the ability to listen, understand, educate and influence customers/potential customers regarding products.
