PriceWalgren, division of KOCH Finishing Systems is currently hiring for an experience Field Service Supervisor to oversee all aspects of installation of automated finishing system equipment. Construction/Installation to include but not limited to the processes and services for rigging, setting, wiring, plumbing, and installation of automated finishing equipment.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage onsite/offsite safety standards and hazards per mandated site protocols/security
  • Complete daily safety audit, risk assessment and reporting
  • Prepare and file daily reports/pictures/documentation of overall site installation
  • Oversee day to day activities on-site and in the field
  • Manage client's expectations, project field employees/sub-contractors/vendors
  • Manage project according to schedule to ensure we meet client's expectations
  • Perform installation of equipment, including, but not limited to uncrating; assembling; setting or lifting products into place; leveling; connecting utilities; and testing systems
  • Inspect Bill of Materials [BOM] to ensure accuracy of field deliveries cross-referenced with associated and supplied drawings
  • Devise and implement completion strategy, action lists and plans
  • Ensure compliance with our company and client's company or government regulations
  • Keep accurate records of attendance and timesheets
  • Provide positive direction to motivate quality performance
  • Schedule and track assignments
  • Communicate opportunities to the Project Manager to capture change orders
  • Record and communicate contractual critical path issues to ensure timely execution daily to PM
  • Secure local material to complete project if required
  • Maintains workflow and ensures availability of proper material, tools & equipment
  • Interacts with project management, manufacturing & engineering to resolve problems that interferes with installation of equipment and productivity


    • Physical, Mental and Environmental Requirements:
  • Stand, walk, reach, use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
  • Talk and hear.
  • Stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, sit, climb, and balance.
  • Lift up to 70 pounds unassisted.


    • Required Education, Experience, and Training
  • Associate degree in Electronics, Mechanical or similar degree, plus one year of related experience, or a High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of five years of experience
  • Technical Training Certification preferred
  • Excellent capability and aptitude for mechanical, electrical, controls-based installation and troubleshooting preferred but will consider other acquired related skill set/proficiencies.


    • Requisite Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills of custom machinery/controls systems
  • Strong project management abilities with ability to lead and delegate
  • Proven leadership skills with a large and diverse workforce
  • Proficiency with Microsoft office suite
  • Ability to read and understand AutoCAD drawings
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • OSHA-30 Certification or able to obtain in first 90-days
  • Demonstrated & ability to build strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with minimum supervision, with strong business acumen.
  • Ability and willingness to travel approximately 70% of the time both domestically and internationally, as required.
  • Ability and willingness to possess and maintain a valid passport and driver's license.
