The Food Service Sales Planning Intern is responsible for supporting the Sales Strategy &Planning Team related to sales activation activities, execution of the business unit's Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and the team's attainment of Poultry business goals. They are responsible for maintaining internal reports using Microsoft Office applications, Power BI, and other internal systems. They will assist in scheduling and coordinating meetings, samples, and product cuttings, as well as any other project needs or ad hoq requests of the SS&P team. This role will work with Sales team members to enhance CRM integrity and provide reporting to measure CRM activities and field compliance. Based on initiative, this position offers the potential for exposure to: Business Units, Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, FSQA, Revenue Management, Business Planning, and enhancement of computer skills. This position will report to the Director, Prepared Foodservice SS&P.


Education: Incoming Junior or Senior. Students with at least one year of school remaining.

Business or Supply Chain majors are required.

Experience: Previous work experience in any field. Computer Skills: Strong computer skills with a working knowledge of Excel familiarity with Access Word and PowerPoint. Experience with Power BI is a plus.

Supervisory: None Special Skills: Ability to multitask; motivated self-starter.

Please Note: This role is a year-round opportunity that requires the selected candidate to work 15 - 20 hours per week during the school year, and as many as 40 hours per week during the summer. This role also requires the selected candidate to work in office at Tyson Foods' Springdale, AR
