ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Cleans, cuts and slices vegetables
Prepares, chicken, meat and fish items (cooked and raw)
Maintains own work area without performing utility duties other than minor clean up
Works in chill room during part or all of the day to handle other refrigerated items
OTHER FUNCTIONS:
Performs various other duties in fulfilling assigned functions reflecting the same level of cooking skills and knowledge.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Scheduling:
Full Time (40 hours a week), day shift (starting at 6am)
Physical Ability:
Able to lift up to 40 pounds regularly
Able to stand or walk for up to 8 hours
Mental Ability:
Able to read and comprehend English
Pre-Employment Requirements:
Must have passed a TB test within 2 years of start date
Must pass pre-employment physical and drug screening test
Environmental Conditions:
Tolerance for temperature extremes from a hot kitchen to chill and/or frozen rooms
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Experience:
Work experience or potential for working in a plant or factory environment (repetitious work assignments, handling volume production, working with equipment, handling portion control systems, etc.)
