Carlisle Construction Materials (CCM), is a global leader in the building materials industry. We've been around since 1917. In just the past year, our company has grown by nearly 70%. We have immediate openings on 3rd shift for full-time forklift operators at its Franklin Park, IL location. This position is responsible for operating forklifts to take products off of the production line and put away in designated locations in the warehouse. Employee will be used to fill in on other jobs in plant as required.

Pay Range: $19 to $21 per hour (3rd Shift Opportunities)

Primary responsibilities include:

* Operate propane sit down lift trucks
* Take product off of the production line and put away in designated locations in the warehouse
* Verify piece counts on each pallet and compare it to label
* Inspect materials for quality defects
* Material handling of all products
* Fill in on other areas of the plant as required. Loaders, cool vent, stackers, etc.

Qualifications include:

* High school diploma or GED required
* Forklift experience required, would be determined during interview process & certification if experience is sufficient
* Six months prior experience in manufacturing environment preferred
* Math skills and capability to calculate square footage and batch sizes
* Ability to follow processing specifications and quality standards
* Ability to use measurement devices such as gauges and tape measures
* Effective communication and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work 8 to 12-hour shifts, up to 6 days per week during busy season
