This role will sit on the Technetics leadership team and the successful candidate will be a proven business leader with strong financial and business experience. Build and lead an effective team to deliver financial planning, analysis and reporting support to the Sealing Technologies leadership team and EnPro's corporate office.

Leads and is responsible for the development of the FP&A team on building relationships, improving processes, and adding additional value.

Works with their team to actively develop new tools to assist management in making sound business decisions across the business.

Partner with division's leadership, controllers, and other divisional leaders as necessary to provide financial data and analysis along with being a thought partner to identify potential areas of improvement in the business based on financial analysis.

Work in team environment to share ideas and best practices with fellow Sealing Tech FP&A leaders and being a valuable thought partner.

Conduct a deliverables audit to identify and eliminate redundant and low-value activities.

Collaborate with Sealing Tech financial leadership.

Budgeting

  • Coordinate the creation of the annual divisional budget, including all relevant site and business unit detail
  • Ensure accurate and timely OneStream uploads for the division and business units
Forecasting
  • Enhance current forecasting methodology to maximize accuracy and achieve the right balance of controller engagement
Reporting
  • Standardize reporting within division while still providing the business with the financial data needed
  • Update quarterly business review presentation that includes appropriate detail for the divisions and BUs
  • Develop a process to evaluate the division's monthly results, identify and understand variances, and implement corrective actions
  • Coordinate the accurate and timely preparation and submission of financial reporting, metrics, and schedules to support EnPro's monthly and quarterly reporting requirements
  • Provides required financial reporting and analysis to division, segment, and Enpro leaders
Capital allocation
  • Works with senior management to establish investment criteria and approval thresholds and processes
  • Ensures capital spending proposals have been prepared with rigor and business acumen
Create and develop new processes, perform ad hoc analysis, and critically think to drive improvements in the finance function along with the rest of the business

Lead FP&A automation and simplification initiatives across the division

Become a power user for the financial systems (OneStream, Capex approval and data hub/Power BI)

Support Data Hub team to ensure data is validated and structure being built is in alignment with business needs

Leads initiatives related to process accuracy, continuous improvement, and effectiveness to achieve financial objectives of the Sealing Technologies segment

Reviews financial results and manages processes to ensure variance analyses are completed and communicated in a timely manner. Works with controllers on financial results and makes recommendations to correct unfavorable trends
