POSITION TITLE: Utility

STATUS: Non-Exempt

LOCATION FOOD SOLUTIONS


POSITION SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Food Solutions Production Manager or designee, this position is primarily responsible for all clean-up and washing duties within Food Solutions.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Washes pots, pans, floors, dishes, carriers, and other containers used in production on a daily basis.

2. Performs janitorial duties for the administrative offices, including but not limited to, emptying trash, dusting, and vacuuming.


OTHER FUNCTIONS:

3. Performs various other duties as directed in support of Food Solutions.


QUALIFICATIONS:


1. Scheduling:

* Must be able to work Monday through Saturday and some holidays, 6:00 am to 8:30 pm


2. Physical Ability:

* Able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis

* Able to stand or walk up to 8 hours/day on a regular basis


3. Mental Ability:

* Able to read and comprehend instructions written in the English language


4. Pre-Employment Requirements:

* Must pass pre-employment physical and drug-screening

* Must also have passed a TB test within 5 years of start date with skin test


5. Environmental Conditions:

* Warm temperatures

* Busy kitchen environment, large equipment (i.e. racks, forklifts and pallet jacks) moving around constantly


6. Education:

* None


7. Experience:

* None
