The CIS department at CCC is expanding its offerings to meet industry demand. We are seeking a dedicated, accomplished, full-time faculty member to teach within this growing area. The position will be responsible for teaching topics focusing on hardware, networking, and security courses. Cybersecurity experience and/or education along with professional experience is a plus.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to teach assigned courses effectively. Knowledge of the subject area, computer and related technology (including Canvas Learning Management System). Ability to maintain professional ethics and confidentiality of students and staff. Ability to support and promote the mission, values, purposes, and strategic plan of the College. Ability to work in a culturally diverse and team environment. Ability to integrate subject area with other related curricula. Knowledge of the applicable state and federal laws, such as Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in CIS, CS, IT, CSE, MIS, ISM, or related degree AND 3 years directly related industry experience AND relevant certifications to meet Coconino Community College's credentialing requirements. Must have current certifications (e.g. A+, Network+, Security +, or other higher level) or be able to obtain certifications by Fall 2021. Final job offers will be contingent upon receipt of official transcripts. Enthusiasm for teaching and learning, and willingness to share excitement with CCC community. Commitment to student success. Experience working with diverse students and colleagues.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience teaching in a higher education setting. Experience using learning management systems (i.e. Canvas, Blackboard, etc.). Cybersecurity and/or cloud computing experience.
