Overview

Kings Dominion is hiring fulltime, year round Food and Beverage Supervisors in Doswell, Virginia. These positions come with a generous benefit package, paid training and the opportunity to laern and grow with a great organization.

Qualifications

Minimum: 18 years old
Minimum 3 years food service experience
Miimum 1 year supervisory experience
Open availability to fill a rotating 40 hour schedule, to include nights, weekends and holidays.
Ability to pass a servsafe certification class & servesafe alcohol certification class.
Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test and background check, which may include, but is not limited to credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy.
Strong, instinctive work ethic.
Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.
Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.

Responsibilities

Train, direct, evaluate, and discipline staff with appropriate documentation. Including employee appraisals.
Respond to and take appropriate action to resolve concerns and complaints from park guests and employees.
Greet, answer questions, ensure quality service, and resolve complaints for guests.
Take steps to ensure that subordinates are trained in all facets of the operation such as service procedure, production
flow, equipment usage and cleaning.
Responsible for maintaining labor and cost of sales budget requirements by continuously evaluating and adjusting to the
business needs.
Required to attend Supervisor meetings and communicate information to their Assistant Supervisor and counterparts.
Monitor that all safety procedures are followed.
Use soda fountains to serve cold drinks and to make milkshakes and frozen desserts.
Use hot water heater or coffee maker to make and serve hot drinks.
Cook and prepare food items to food safety standards.
