Northrop Grumman Space Systems - Training System Team (TST) is seeking qualified individuals to design and develop simulation based trainer devices. This position will be permanently located in Roy, Utah and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force's sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure. What You'll Get To Do:
Support the Systems Engineering process, testing methods, procedures, and problems; device specification and yield problems; minor redesign as needed; and analysis of reliability and maintainability for Training Systems.
Assist in defining product definition for training requirements.
Understanding the wide application of technical principle, theories, and concepts in the field.
Collaborates with Systems and Quality Engineers to ensure hardware requirements are met.
Assists in developing technical data packages for customer delivery.
Able to communicate effectively and clearly present technical approaches and findings.
Interacts with partners and suppliers on significant technical matters when required for coordination.

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Qualifications:

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

BS in Systems Engineering, Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 5 years' experience.
Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance; Interim Secret required to start.
Ability to troubleshoot hardware
Strong Engineering Process experience

These Qualifications will be good to have:

Current Top Secret Clearance
Department of Defense training systems experience
DOORS or similar Experience
DEVSECOPS Experience
DoD Acquisition Framework / SysML
Agile Experience
