Job Details:

The starting pay for this position is $17.80/hr. with a shift increase for second and third shift. We have open part time positions available for third shift.

POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. This position will be for THIRD shift

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday. Approx. 28 hours a week.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform any other work as assigned by supervisor
• Perform general housekeeping duties in the department
• Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF Requirements
• Perform all positions of rotation, if applicable
• Handle raw or smoked bacon

REQUIREMENTS:

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

• Standing, walking, bending, squatting, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling and reaching are required in all areas.
• Must be able to reach high and low levels, frequently.
• Ability to flex/grip with wrist/hands repetitively.
• Must be able to push/pull/lift 40 lbs. or more if required.
• Must be able to work in a cold, damp or hot and humid environment that may have slippery walking surfaces.

Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 365 days and are limited to three (3) times of employment.
