Job Details:

The starting pay for this position is $17.80 - $18.30/hr. with a shift increase for second and third shift.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The General Production Worker is responsible for screening, packing and boxing quality product from a production line.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inspect finish product ensuring it meets product specifications
  
• Stacking product properly and maintaining accurate case counts.
  

• Assemble boxes and pack finished product
  
• Must be willing to rotate between the different positions in Packout and between the Corn and Flour departments as needed
  
• Perform any other work as assigned by supervisor
  
• Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF Requirements
  
• Must perform all positions of rotation, if applicable.
  
• Responsible for picking up scrap/trash and discarding it into the properly color-coded barrel or scrap modules
  
• Assures that only product that is contaminated, burnt, or unfit for regrind is going into the proper color-coded scrap barrels
  
• Ensures that reusable product from the line is placed in the white barrels for regrind reprocessing
  
• Responsible for keeping scrap barrels clean and in good shape. Damaged scrap barrels are to be discarded
  
• Responsible for pushing scrap module back to shipping once it is full, weighing the scrap and dumping it properly and recording weights
  
• Responsible for keeping the floors clean (sweeping) and free of debris
  
• Perform any other work as assigned by supervisor
  
• Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF Requirements
  
• Must perform all positions of rotation, if applicable
  

REQUIREMENTS:

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

• Ability to flex/grip with wrists/hands
  
• Standing, twisting, climbing stairs, reaching 12-24 inches and repetitive lifting of up to 10 lbs. frequently
  
• Ability to perform basic math functions (adding, subtracting, multiplying, etc.) with use of calculator.
