Job Description Summary
The Global CAD/CAFM Manager will be responsible for leading the Global CAD/CAFM team in managing day-to-day functionality of the client's Space Management tool including data integrity of CAD floor plans, occupant data and reporting (regular or ad hoc). This role will collaborate and communicate with numerous global teams at all levels to provide spatial data metrics that contribute to identifying and delivering global real estate decisions and strategies, document and report on business operations and space management technology, aligning technological solutions with business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute as subject matter expertise in the areas of spatial data management, CAD / CAFM administration, space and occupancy data analytics and space utilization measurement.
  • Serves as SPOC and system administrator for client space data management system, enforcing user controls and system continuity.
  • Ensure compliance of client space data standards and contribute to data governance process - control of input sources and data consistency.
  • Evaluate technical planning processes to ensure business requirements are supported by the technology; anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
  • Lead ongoing reviews of business processes and development of optimization strategies.
  • Stay up to date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems and conduct meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
  • Perform requirements analysis and effectively communicate insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
  • Manage analysis and development of space and occupancy reports and dashboards.
  • Manage workflow of maintaining up to date space data changes in the CAFM/IWMS system.
  • Contribute to all system integration efforts to further enhance the availability and quality of spatial and occupancy data.
  • Hold expertise in CAD/CAFM and the methodologies and calculations used to generate and analyze allocation deliverables.
  • Establish core program standards for global space naming conventions, allocation model application, drawing standards and reporting standards.
  • Establish working relationships and guides the development of roles and responsibilities with partners.
  • Proactively monitor the execution of the client space allocation model and delivery of reporting in accordance with client space allocation process.
  • Enable all system integration efforts with the CAFM system to further enhance the availability and quality of spatial and occupancy data.
  • Leads development and implementation of space data management system training for system users.
  • Responsible for guiding and reviewing recommendations to enhance operational efficiency, service delivery, cost savings, and innovative service advancements for all functional areas.
  • Effective leadership for the CAD/CAFM team; timely solution development, ensuring compliance with established process workflows and consistent service delivery for all project types.
  • Lead development and maintenance of playbooks.
  • Manage training program for users across the globe, establishing cadences and guidelines depending on user groups.
  • Provide vital linkage between space management platform and industry best practices; introduce innovation to the account team/client.
  • Provide leadership to the analytics team as it relates to innovation, training, quality assurance.
  • Responsible for employee workload balance and coverage for consistent ad-hoc requests.

  • Serves as a liaison between stakeholders and system output.
  • Effectively manages competing resources and priorities.
  • Provides leadership, coaching, and guidance to staff while monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects.
  • Desire to streamline/lean-out processes to provide best in class services.

Qualifications
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent combination of education, training and experience in Architectural Technology, Space Planning, Space Data Management, Data Analytics or Occupancy Planning
  • A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in business analysis or a related field.
  • Architectural background is a plus and familiarity with design concepts a must.
  • Advanced CAFM/IWMS/CMMS skills and experience; Serraview knowledge desired.
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
  • Advanced technical skills and excellent verbal and writing skills.
  • Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook.
  • A track record of following through on commitments.
