Our Data Governance practice assists customers on their journey to becoming fully data-driven organizations. Our objective is to optimize our client's ability to successfully manage the decision rights and responsibilities of their data to ensure availability, usability, integrity, and security of their information assets. By co-creating solutions that align the people, processes, and technology, we help ensure their data is trustworthy, meaningful, and properly accessible. You will experience a variety of client projects including performing assessments, devising and implementing data quality, data catalog, and master data solutions, and assisting in the delivery of comprehensive Data Governance and Data Management projects.

Our team is open to hiring at either the Principal or Sr. Principal level for this opening.

What You'll Do

  • Provides Impact across Slalom markets through Offering Definition, Sold Revenue of Data Governance offerings, and as a Billable SME on projects
  • Responsible for building and maturingdata governance offerings globally at Slalom
  • Leverage your deep industry or functional knowledge to recommend and help establish data governance processes and organizational structures for clients.
  • Collaborate with Sales Execs, Partners and other Data and AI leaders to support sales opportunities and help sell transformational data governance projects.
  • Work with Slalom Alliances team to build and develop relationships with data governance related partners and partners on joint sales pursuits
  • Work internally with Slalom teams to capture best practices, develop case studies, sales collateral, and other core deliverables to build solution offerings
  • Support strategic C-level conversations to help sell and deliver transformational data governance programs.
  • Author whitepapers, speak and deliver thought leadership to build Slalom's D&AI Brand
  • Develop and deliver best practices, delivery templates, and point-of-view papers
  • Maintain awareness of industry best practices and business levers for D&A offerings and understands how other practices within Slalom can work together to drive better client outcomes
  • Oversee quality assurance of project delivery
  • Support recruiting andon-boardingof new D&AI employees and leaders as needed
  • Travel requirements: < 30%

What You'll Bring
  • Thought leader and advisor in the data governance space
  • Delivered Data Governance related solutions across multiple industries and user bases
  • Developed and set technical strategy and architectural patterns for large data management programs
  • Implemented data governance related tools and technologies related to master data management, data catalogs and lineage, data quality and data privacy - and is familiar with leading tools in these spaces.
  • Has developed POVs addressing industry trends and forward-thinking concepts related to Data Governance topics
  • Data Governance expert with one or more key technologies: Informatica, Collibra, Reltio, Alation, Purview, Profisee etc.
  • Has provided clients with guidance on the establishment and operations of Centers of Excellence for Data Governance
  • Defined or guided the definition of data standards and governance policies; has built consensus for standards and policies
  • Has collaborated with clients to identify barriers for execution of their vision and advised on ways to obtain alignment and action
  • Demonstrated ability to work and communicate with C-level client leaders and potentially serve as a senior-level data governance leader
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies

Compensation and Benefits

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position at the Principal level the base salary pay range is $122,000 to $225,000. For this position at the Sr. Principal level the base salary pay range is $140,000 to $258,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
