SUMMARY

Kollmorgen is looking for a Digital Marketing Senior Manager to define and execute the digital and ecommerce strategies and the digital user experience for Kollmorgen's global business. This position is a remote position and reports directly to the Kollmorgen Director, Global Customer Engagement. This position can be performed from our Global Headquarters in Radford, VA or can be performed remotely with onsite requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Define the Kollmorgen user experience via digital channels as well as the digital platform functionality to support it (websites and other online properties).
  • Manage digital marketing team (including specialists in SEO and PPC, web development, content entry, translation management, digital analytics) and lead the day-to-day work to define and execute a prioritized set of enhancements to site content and functionality. Collaborate with extended cross-functional teams with representation from regional marcomm, product marketing, sales, support, lead generation, CRM, and outside agencies.
  • Provide strategic vision and execute updates/transformation of Kollmorgen's suite of online design and other pre-purchase tools to enable a "sales-assisted" digital experience.
  • Provide strategic leadership and guide the day-to-day management of global SEO and PPC programs, managing internal and 3rd party resources to deliver a strong ROI.
  • Support the Director of Global Customer Engagement in executing the digital transformation agenda for Kollmorgen. Proactively identify and implement required changes to business processes, company culture, technological capabilities, and organizational structure. Establish strong partnerships with regional sales and marketing teams, product management, and other key internal/external partners to assure organization-wide alignment and collaboration toward transformation.
  • Provide input to, and support of, day-to-day execution of digital analytics programs, ensuring that key insights are leveraged for continuous improvement within all relevant areas of Kollmorgen business operations to deliver targeted lead generation and opportunity creation.
  • Establish business processes and performance measurement tools that enable rapid "test-and-learn" and continuous improvement. Provide leadership in leveraging Altra's suite of productivity tools and methodologies (ABS) to optimize digital programs.

Job Requirements:

Critical Competencies
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing channels, platforms, and technologies (web, mobile, social, display advertising, PPC, SEO, email); Experience in platform selection and implementation.
  • Experience in building and managing data-driven 1:1 marketing programs spanning the full customer lifecycle
  • Proven ability to manage digital properties to deliver a best-in-class online user experience and to successfully execute multi-channel marketing initiatives
  • Strong knowledge of digital analytics; Experience in building and managing processes for measuring KPIs, conducting analyses, and delivering results to internal and external business partners to foster continuous improvement in digital and other key business practices.
  • Proven ability to drive results through effective management of direct reports as well as cross-functional partners & teams without formal authority.
  • Strong global mindset and ability to effectively balance needs of multiple lines of business and regional teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills amongst cross-functional teams, including Senior Leaders
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally (15%)
Compensation

Base pay range: $108,568 - $149,281

This salary range is provided in good faith and is intended to display the value of the company's base pay compensation for all statewide locations across the United States. Salary is dependent on a multitude of factors, including but not limited to the physical worksite location, candidate's skill set, level of experience, education, and internal peer compensation comparisons.

Education and Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in Marketing or Sales; 3 years' experience successfully managing digital marketing and ecommerce programs for B2B or B2C.
  • Track record of executional excellence and continuous improvement. Lean Six Sigma Black or Green Belt certification preferred, but not required
  • Experience managing online mix and pricing for company with a multi-channel selling strategy.
