Job Description Summary:
In this role, you will contribute to the execution and review of pricing related operations within PayPal. You are responsible for documenting and supporting all day to day pricing operations at PayPal Inc.

Meet our team
As a Pricing Operations analyst, you are responsible for one of the most critical phases of the deal flow: assessing pricing accuracy with the contract, configuring pricing, and validating applied pricing. You will be responsible for managing a team of four analysts who evaluate, document, and support all day-to-day pricing operations of PayPal Companies. This will include, but not limited to, the end-to-end transition and support of all pricing processes as well as the implementation of pricing tools and functionality. This role is critical to the success of the business as the team ensures that pricing is applied accurately and efficiently for all signed merchant agreements.

Your way to impact

You will partner with Sales, Customer Success Managers, Legal, and Sales Operations to build and strengthen the price-to-contract pricing controls & procedures surrounding all day-to-day pricing execution. You will also contribute to efforts to review and optimize pricing processes and tools in partnership with Product Managers and Engineers.

Your day to day

In your day-to-day role you will:

  • Develop a deep understanding of pricing platform capabilities, price configuration, controlscontrols, and contract processes for PayPal Companies
  • Monitor various pricing queues and activities to support the global sales team by configuring pricing, applying pricing, supporting refund requests, and answering pricing related inquiries.
  • Escalate pricing issues as needed to the pricing leadership (Pricing Ops Manager) in a timely manner.
  • Support strategic Pricing initiatives and Pricing Organization's product roadmap by testing and training new products and pricing platform capabilities.
  • Drive proactive partnership for Pricing Operations across Pricing and key stakeholder groups

  • Bachelor's Degree and 2-4 years of related work experience
  • Thrive and excel working within a fast paced, active environment and can handle the ever-changing needs of many internal and external customers globally.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to meet or accelerate internal SLAs.
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to process/system changes quickly.
  • Must be able to work independently and as a team..
  • Experience with Excel and Salesforce preferred.
