Job Description:

The Quality Engineer role is passionate about monitoring, analyzing, and gathering insights for CPU products' comprehensive quality performance, and improving customers' overall quality experience by enabling continuous improvement of its products and processes.

Responsibilities:

This role provides opportunities to apply your analytical and problem solving skills to realize tangible results while rapidly growing your knowledge in the areas of processor IP development, quality management, and customer experience. Primary responsibilities are:

  • Monitor, analyze and capture insights for various quality metrics
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to drive effective corrective and preventive actions to enable continuous improvement
  • Ensure that actions from metrics, lessons learned, and customer feedback are followed through in a timely manner
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Strong numerical and analytical capabilities
  • Proficient with tools such as Microsoft Office and Sharepoint
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams, JIRA, and Confluence
  • Good interpersonal skills in a multifaceted, global organization
  • Can-do attitude and eagerness to learn new skills
"Nice To Have" Skills and Experience:
  • Familiarity with data visualization/business intelligence tools like Tableau and Power BI
  • Familiarity with programming languages like SQL, R or Python
  • Familiarity with structured problem solving and root cause analysis methodologies
  • Familiarity with computer architecture, VHDL or FPGA concepts
